Anderson St. 05:04
Scuba Anderson St. All the markets fell in the red again, and the poor are growing with no end, so the Earths skin turned over with its resent, that the blood it has spilled by the hands of buisnessmen. All the factories close, and no one really knows, so where will we go, and live The poor get packed into vans, called thief with empty hands, poured into prisons of quicksand, so stiff We lost all our houses and the banks re-wrote the books, And the jobswe held steadynow left empty in the soot, Forming lines for shelters, keep the family safe from angry looks, And the crime, with no face, taking turns and keeping pace Watching ever, walk and pace, hiding fear, to keep us in place And the folly of control, too bankrupt to patrol, takes bribes from the whole, to toll There are others in here who feel the same, They dont see the pleasure in giving any pain, Poor stealing from the poor and anxiety in the brain, Doesnt do any good when theres nothing to gain And history knows, that those we dispose, only come back later in shadows If theres no way out, violence will come from doubt, and everyone loses without The fever of deceiver and the knots grow on the back, What we do to each other only serves the monsters wrath, And the summer heat approaching will only worsen the attack The homeless grow, long faces show, and nobody knows how long this will go, People crammed into cots so tight, so nobody can breathe The perception of rejection, of past class based interaction, only feeds the lie that theres any way to move free Past the fields through the leafless trees, we could see, An unfinished suburb, a free community A hope for the group and a relief from hopeless grief, Keep this to each other, dont want our hope stolen from the thief Left the shelter, out of sight, keeping together, keeping tight Children all – muck around, keep noise down, to a little sound A prime place, for us to live, move in quietly and so we did Water works, and lights a fire a home for each, and working wires Unfinished homes, stopped by recession, Things to fix, and moving progression Trees fill in, and help hide our homes keep down the smoke from our working stoves A better place than the homeless shelter, A safe place for us, keeping together Grow food in the garden, plant food everywhere, We work together, everybody gets their share A return to normal from melancholy, so desperately The stock market crash put the, dollar in the trash And the sun still shines in the, world it confines So all the greedy hands, get burnt by foolish plans Summer sun is getting lower, we get ready for cooler weather The kids still always play around, making fun, jumping up and down Fall colors fill the street, we leave them there to be discreet Dont want attention from the gloom, Weve worked to hard to feel the doom Sometimes one of us will go out to town, try to see if things are calming down Violence and hate still dominate, and keep the poor in a restless state The vultures still lurk those streets, finding scraps for it to eat Maybe someday things will turn back, and all this noise will fade to black A snitch of the state turned hands of fate, But the police are too bankrupt to help facilitate The bank cries robbery with the intent of bribery, So wealthy it stinks and a fear of poverty, “We didnt know what was coming, we didnt hear a sound” With the cops too few and busy to take control, the bank turns to mercenary with one insidious goal “If the vagrants dont leave you can use lethal forces, there wont be any media, so use all your resources!” “We were sleeping in bed, with our heads in dreams” we said Men in uniform barricade the outside area, the push the public back to avoid hysteria A bogus lie created of a lethal gas leak, While the mercs creep up its the state technique “We were dreaming of comfort, asleep in natures slumber” Helicopters and lights invade the community, loud screams and shots kill with every oppurtunity All our families and children all lay dead, As the law that protected, now turns its head “we lay cold lifeless, all our dreams fade to silence” But what little did those men know, a little boys UAV captured it all on video When the video was sent to the national station, All those involved were jailed for their lethal predation And so many years later the memory never goes away, The saints of Anderson St. dream every day.

Automobile 02:49
Scuba Automobile I bought this car of mine, it works well hit the pedal on the floor, its an easy sell But after a while of use, it begins to fail It starts with all these little things, just a small detail One speaker stops working, the other one is crackling The AC dont work, SHIT !!! This car gets hotter, why do I bother, Its easier to forget about it I could fix these problems, but why struggle Smoke fills up the cabin, and more trouble I just get use to it, no time to think Ignore the problems and, have another drink It takes more gas, to push this thing forward, Its only getting worse, I hope I can afford it Theres no spare in the trunk, I guess Im just out of luck My future looks bleak, might as well sleep in the trunk In long hour working systems It all seems to happen to everyone these days You get kicked in the back and you wake up in a maze You want to put your best foot forward and do what you feel is right An endless sea of distractions put our habitat in this blight Big buisness and higher profits dont care much for long term vision By extracting whats needed leaving holes with lethal precision And the contract has its mark bleeding down from the dotted line, The chemical seeps in soil and that state does is issue a fine Big stacks and bigger stacks reach ever higher into the sky, All the smoke gets scattered making it difficult to tell a lie And the cancer pollution sickness creates Pharma medicine big business Working more longer hours to finance the cost of the grimace Roadkill pushed aside cant tell people from the wild, As long as we dont look, roll up the windows and try to smile The vacancy of complacency, shamelessly hiding it so inescapably We see it in the news, detaching ourselves from it, unnecessarily I bought this car of mine, its going to fail Hit the pedal on the floor, cant beat a snail No I cant return it, I got it on sale The brakes barely working, press the horn and get silence Id rather go back to bed As long as the sun keeps shinning, and the birds keep chirping, and the belly is all well fed Why should I fix this car, I got no time to give Its the weight of all these little things, less time to live You know what Im talking about, this place called home If we all pitch in and make a difference, it wont fall like a Rome This planet we inhabit takes occasional maintenance planning, we can all live in it If the greedy plutocrats try to stop us from future harming, I guess theyll just have to throw a fit

Conform 03:07
Scuba Conform This Feeling this cant be real, is this how people are suppose to feel You feel youve done everything right and kept away from whats wrong but still standing here writing this song So many faces of so many places, so many fears seperating more than just races Keep wanting to be part of alarger narrative, knowing society builds its wall on the comparative Sitting still and watching the madness fall out, filling every puor with cowardice and doubt Watching everything regress to the middle, linning straight up in rows its all very simple I dont know where the master is here, forming majorities on a steeple of fear The mind can be a real foggy mess, then something steps in the room and re-asserts itself You can see it here, and see it there, every little bit of the machine creating fear Stolen from the ideal we teach children but then stolen froma crook We steal from each other the life we want for ourselves, pushing pins in the doll never giving what was took Every little piece torn from the pages written in a book, stolen from our memoriesof how life could really look Who would want somone to feel this way, the set paints a picture of a different day Everyone gets along but no they really dont, in group walls building, so they really wont Cowardice creating barriers for a shallow moment of friendship, which then turns on itself madness creating the hollow ego trip (Laughter) Fuck That !!! ) Robbing Peter to pay Paul to get a step ahead, only puts us two steps back forgetting where we tread If your only way forward is stand on others mistakes, your just as very likely to end up to be eating with sour grapes Id rather stand in a storm and resist the menace to conform I know it feels good to be part of a group, but if it contradicts your senses your being played as a dupe Its hard to be on the outside feeling doubt from within, but looking at other choices only apathy can begin If data doesnt back up the norm, I resist the menace to conform If what your doing doesnt hurt others or does any harm to yourself, than what does it matter if joy thrives in and of itself People require patience, as their fears create their choices, if too much of it happens we could together be left voiceless If people follow blindly grouping in a swarm, I resist the menace to conform If the public is led with the intent to misinform, I resist the menace to conform Id rather stand in a storm and resist the menace to conform If data doesnt back up the norm, I resist the menace to conform

Scuba Where All Monsters Here The monsters all get into boxes in the sun and in the rain, shuffling fast in a line we lay dead there ragged and in pain Bloated bodies filling with flies the aroma isnt hard to mistake, but we need to cross the road sometimes its too much, too much to take The poison drips down from the clouds and into the water, it flows down the stream ending life, the monsters wouldnt know or bother They come here and take up almost all of our living space, flatten the land and turn to rock - nothing alive leaves a trace They grow more everyday taking everything they can touch, wouldnt know the value of what they have - it wouldnt mean very much Its feet leaves its prints here deep into the soil, creating garbage and wreacking havoc - our lives are left to spoil The monsters come to us sometimes hunting us to combat boredom, another friend of mine now finds itself living as an orphan Their vile seeps into the water where we go to drink, It gets harder to find decent water that isnt covered with the stink Garbage heaps grow higher and nothing there can live, the monsters creating all this junk with no caring left to give There are some of my friends that I havnt seen in ages, there kind I havnt seen again - a loss of familiar faces Where I grew up in my forest - its all been turned to dirt, maybe one day it will come back and everything will revert Walking home from getting foodfor the day, my leg gets stuck in some garbage and now here my body will just have to decay We are not the world, we are not the children Weve caused more damage to our world thwn we can possilbly imagine Living out our mass extinction slowly as the years go by, Everything gets warmer as we watch our friends disappear and say goodbye We are not the world, we are a part of it, and were defintely not children Weve poured more blood in the dirt in numbers over a trillion And when the worse is over and everything settles, Maybe the new life that emerges will have learned that the balancethat the balance to be had is nothing to meddle

Whales 03:40
Scuba Whales The story to tell is a little disparaging, and maybe you should know how far this story goes, right Weve been robbed throughout the ages and this is nothing new, so Listen to whats been done and see if it makes you sick, see if it makes you think, see right through the trick, see it right through the obvious lie Fat cats taking cash, and go on vacation The poor pay their taxes, then takenas donation Recession unemploed, and nowhere to work Reirement funds empty, creates Wall St confetti Too big to fail, another folly for the press Push fear in the monds, a recipe for success The taxpayer steps in and bails the companies out, The cash disappers with no trace of finding out The con pulls the lever and starts the bait and switch, Recession repossession while the wealthy only get more rich The bonuses get more bigger - this criminal enterprise only sighs, It only wants more money and then its lost to no surprise And one of the biggest crooks of all, Citigroup said its company would surely fall Over 5.3 billion in bonuses put on the dole, with no concern of any public opinion poll They say its just a haircut and look the other way, If we were doing something illegal then the public will just have to pay All these big banks lying on the beach like bloated whales, And expect the public to push them back and drive up bigger sales The story Ive told is a little disparaging, and maybe you should know how far this story goes, right Weve been robbed throughout the ages and this is nothing new, so Listen to whats been done and see if it makes you sick, see if it makes you think, see right through the trick, see it right through the obvious lie So the next time big business wants to score another bailout, Stand out in city streets- stand up and scream and shout The only way to stop the villain from taking your future and putting debt up to the ceiling Is to unveil the lies the crook keeps concealing Morgan Stanley took the billions and paid big bonuse to its crooks, Goldman Sachs and Wells Fargo did the same while cooking books Chase and Bank of America cashing out for the scheme, It must be worth taking all those billions, their idead if the american dream They said it was going to be temporary and everything will return, but as it keeps going they say its none of your concern Inside trading - vultures working behind the scene, cannabilizie our future work the numbers and say its clean

Conscription 03:11
Scuba Conscription The poor fight for the rich, they say the stinking bodies make them sick, "Why cant they stick the bodies somehere else", the tanks slipping on an oil slick Education repossession narrowing the poor minds perception, how can we muster an argument if the facts are kept in contention Conscription makes its call, if you cant afford it theyll take you all, put faces up against the wall, if your credit card clears you can always withdrawl Big business creates the conflicts turning dollars into bullets, the con turns the poor against each other, indigent blood creates happy markets The government horns its prescription for conscription, creating its enemies and silencing any intellectual intervention In group conformity blindly looking for those to condemn, brother against brother, the usual us vs them And after piles of bodies created, the situation is devastated, families get torn aprt as stocks grow ever more inflated The soldiers come home fractured from the experiences of the campaign, they say they need help but big brother says dont complain So many years later the drums start to beat again, they want bigger profits so poor bodies become eminent domain Old soldier tells the young one not togo and fight, but the young one refuses - calls him traitor and shoots him on sight The government horns its prescription for conscription, creating its enemies and silencing any intellectual intervention In group conformity blindly looking for those to condemn, brother against brother, the usual us vs them

Sophie 03:06
Scuba Sophie From the mouth of a lion, he exposed them, we read him, and took our name from him The villain, spits its venom, with its weapon, using fear as momentum A white rose, in shadows, in form of prose, grows in secret in the meadow With a strong mind, and eyes kind, our thoughts refined loose leaflets drop behind In the streets and keeping time, the night is our friend, the word Freedom is a crime Walking past soldiers, keep your head down, you could disappear quickly without even a sound My brother beside me, brings the good within me, harming nobody, strength turns to light as ideas are set free From the cloak of a fascist, rifle fire flashes, bodies burnt to ashes, these dark times life is the saddest With the light of my conscience, and still keeping cautious, only one option, stand against the evil pursuing heartless nonsense Was once fooled by the newsspeak, thought it was unique, tried to turn the other cheek, the soft cell technique Silently reading letters from the front line, mass graves of bodies while the officers drink wine Stories of my citizens put into horrible work camps, covered in darkness - Ill put my light to the lamp This feeling inside me, brings pride and solidarity, ideas are set free, and my lamp glows so brightly Fear made to fashion, I fight with compassion, against this evil faction, will not settle for inaction In the shadow of the state, dividing us with its hate, I will not participate, and lie in silence The tyrant is a fool, and our right to overrule, Its faction is a monster, as we spread our truth throughout the school The coward points its fingerand the soldiers step right in, we were peacefully expressing freedom but now its sink or swim And the whistle ringing loudly gleefully to catch its running prey, puts in little boxes as the order of the day The trial is a con, Handing out death in automaton Abhorent prosecutor, ranting like a lifeless computer The trial is a farce, Pulling lies from its arse And the corrupted judge, hides it fear with its grudge They say were all guilty and have to face the blade, if thats the price of freedom I will gladly take my place Their war is already lost and their too afraid to admit it, but they will put their violence on my life just to omit it The trial is a con, handing out death in automaton Abhorrent prosecutor, ranitng like a lifeless computer Immoral fasicst faction, we must awaken and stir to action The coward and his knife, I will stand against this craven evil WITH MY LIFE !!!
